TSC has also provided technical assistance to the FAA Program Office during the test phase.
- Participated in all development tests of the integrated primary and secondary radars, interfaces (Again, a link to interfaces here), antenna/pedestal group, and weather processing.
- Participated in development testing in Canada, England, and Eglin Air Fore Base in Stockton, CA.
- Assisted the FAA is assessing the operational performance of the ASR-11 at Eglin AFB bye collecting, analyzing, and reviewing test data.
- Developed the Plot Amplitude Thresholding (PAT) Optimization Tool (Link to PAT Tool), which provides offline software support for optimizing PAT-related Variable Site Parameters (VSPs) of the ASR-11 Primary Surveillance Radar and utilizes recorded ASR-11 data and user defined settings to facilitate a simulation of the PAT function of the ASR-11 in order to generate performance statistics.
