ASR-11 Mode S UpgradeTSC has participated in the ASR-11 Mode S upgrade by working to:
- Quantify the performance differences between the present ASR-11 secondary, the secondary with selective interrogation, and legacy sliding window systems (ATCBI-4 and -5) at high density airports.
- Prepare the documentation needed to obtain initial costing from the vendor for one or more enhancement scenarios.
- Coordinate, analyze, and summarize the high-level costing materials.
- Summarize the steps required to transition the ASR-11 secondary to selective interrogation capability equivalent to the Mode S.
