Radar Support System (RSS)
The RSS was developed by TSC for the FAA and USAF Rome Laboratory to automate the radar siting and performance analysis function. The RSS determines:
· Optimum radar location and height
· Radar performance at specified site
· Sources of radar performance problems
· Impact of proposed construction on radar
· Optimum control tower location
The RSS also supports other sensors and serves as a GIS for airport planning functions.
