The Radar Imagery Generator (RIG) is a simulation tool for creating Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) and Inverse SAR (ISAR) imagery. The RIG user can simulate radar images of target scenes that incorporate a geometric model, target motion, and radar parameters. This simulated imagery can then be used to analyze and interpret actual radar imagery, investigate target signature exploitation/reduction, and perform tradeoff studies on image quality versus radar requirements and/or radar design.
