Chief
Scientist/Engineer
Technology Service Corporation, an employee-owned systems engineering
firm, is seeking an analyst/engineer with expertise in radar systems
engineering to work at our Silver Spring, MD site. This person will
work closely with our chief scientist in providing technical guidance
and assistance for all of our major programs. We work in an exciting,
collaborative environment on research and development programs for
technologies to support future military sensor systems.
Successful candidates will have theoretical and practical experience
with radar systems engineering including advanced antenna, RF, signal
processing and environment modeling techniques including adaptive
and non-adaptive processing for detection, tracking, and imaging applications.
Experience on current DOD systems is required. Candidates must possess
20 years of experience and an M.S. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering
or Physics. Writing and presentation skills are essential, as well
as a demonstrated record of creative contributions in the above disciplines.
Responsibilities include defining system-level requirements, carrying
out trade studies, defining system architectures, designing and developing
radar, seeker, and communications modes and algorithms, conducting
performance analyses, and developing simulations. Successful candidates
will support the Government in the development of combat systems and
future-generation radar and sensor systems that use active electronically
scanned antennas, wide band receivers, and advanced processors.
U.S. Citizenship required. Applicants selected will be subject to
a Government Security Investigation and must meet eligibility requirements
for access to classified information.
