ENTERPRISE ARCHITECT

SUMMARY:

Client collaboration with a major defense program in the development of its “current,” “intermediate” and “target” enterprise architecture.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Provide expertise in inputting enterprise architecture data elements into the Telelogic System Architect modeling tool.
• Develop complimentary and consistent artifact views in accordance with the Department of Defense Architectural Framework (DoDAF).
• Identify the data needed to develop and populate the enterprise architecture model and transform raw data into information usable by the System Architect tool.
• Lead the development of graphic or textual renderings of applicable DoDAF products through System Architect.
• Interface with the team, client, and other stakeholders to identify other components for inclusion in the enterprise architecture.
• Assist a multi-functional team in developing a strategy and plans to best align IT with the client’s business processes for improved information and system integration across organizational boundaries.
• Brief middle and senior-level executives and client leads on program progress.

OTHER FUNCTIONS:

Experience in major DoD acquisition programs, as well as the Marine Corps domain and Marine Corps information technology systems, is a plus.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and Work Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, Social Science, or other related analytical, scientific, or technical disciplines.

Five years combined hands-on experience customizing, implementing, and administering the Telelogic System Architect repository for the DoD or other federal agencies. Experience in the iterative development and quality control of DoDAF-based enterprise architecture products, as well as have experience with enterprise architecture development at a conceptual or strategic level using the DoDAF methodology.
Some experience required in the following or related technical disciplines: business optimization, lean/six sigma or other business process improvement methodologies, structured analysis, and/or information technology (preferred).

Certifications and Licenses

• Enterprise Architect certification, such as Federal Enterprise Architecture Certification in DODAF, a plus.
