Senior Microwave Tube Engineer

Indiana Operations is seeking a senior microwave tube engineer with a background in microwave tube selection, design evaluation, interface resolution, test, repair, tube-transmitter interface problem resolution, reliability, and life cycle cost management. The successful candidate will have a B.S. (M.S. preferred) in Physics or Electrical Engineering; 10 years experience in microwave tube design and production; team organization skills; good verbal and written communication skills; and Secret Clearance (or ability to acquire). Past work should include linear beam devices and crossed-field devices, as well as devices producing peak powers in excess of 500 kilowatts and average powers in excess of five kilowatts. The successful candidate will have experience working with S through Ka band. Familiarity with fast-wave devices, design or production of devices producing peak powers at the multi-megawatt level, CW linear beams, and relevant design codes is a plus.
