Radar Support System (RSS) The RSS was developed by TSC for the FAA and USAF Rome Laboratory to automate the radar siting and performance analysis function. The RSS determines:

· Optimum radar location and height · Performance at specified site · Sources of radar performance problems · Impact of proposed construction on radar The RSS also serves as a Geographic Information System (GIS) and supports control tower siting and airport planning.
